Tameside council has had to 'stand down' food bin collections this week as Covid-19 hits its workforce.
"We have had to stand down all the brown bin rounds for Tuesday, January 18," it said on its website.
This isn't the first time the Omicron variant has had an impact on bin services in the borough - with residents experiencing disruption last month.

The brown bins are used for uncooked and cooked food; plants, leaves, small twigs and grass cuttings; and compostable bags.
Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council said: "The rapid spread of the Omicron variant of COVID has started to impact service delivery.
"We are working closely with staff and agency suppliers to minimise this impact and protect our teams. To ensure continuity of critical services, during one of our busiest times of the year, we have had to delay and stand down some rounds."
On Monday (January 17) there were a number of 'outstanding' rubbish collections - which are now being completed today.
- These are:
- Blue bins in Hollingworth and Stalybridge
- Black and green bins in Stalybridge
- Brown bins in Mossley and Stalybridge
However, it was today announced that brown bin rounds would not be taking place.
"These collections will be our priority on Tuesday, January 25.
"Thank you for your patience," the council said.
