Foo Fighters have announced their first album since the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins aged 50.
The legendary rock band will release their new album But Here We Are this summer after dropping lead single Rescued on Wednesday.
It marks the first new music from the band since the death of Taylor in March 2022.
The group's 10 song album has been produced by Foo Fighters and Greg Kurstin and will be released on June 2.
But Here We Are is said to be a “brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything Foo Fighters endured over the last year”, according to a press release.
Songs on the record include Under You, Hearing Voices, But Here We Are, The Glass, Nothing At All, Show Me How, Beyond Me, The Teacher and Rest.
Taylor tragically passed away while the band were touring South America.
The group were set to play in Bogotá, Colombia when he complained about having "chest pain".
The drummer was declared dead in his hotel room after paramedics tried to revive him.
Foo Fighters immediately cancelled the remainder of their shows but returned to the stage near the end of the year to honour Hawkins in two tribute shows in London.
The Wembley Stadium line up included close musician friends of Taylor such as Liam Gallagher, Paul McCartney, Queen, Supergrass and The Pretenders.
Drummers Travis Barker and Roger Taylor were some of the big names to fill Hawkins boots on the night, but it was Taylor's teenage son Shane who stole the show.
Ahead of his appearance Grohl told the sold-out crowd: "Ladies and gentlemen, we have one more drummer that’s going to come up and play with us and let me tell you I don’t think I've ever seen anyone hit the drums as hard as this person, but beyond that, he's a member of our family."
He continued: "And he needs to be here tonight with all of us, and I think it makes sense that he's going to come up and play with us tonight.
"Ladies and gentlemen, would you please welcome Mr Shane Hawkins on the drums."
Countless fans took to social media afterwards to complement youngster on his breath-taking performance.
"He was absolutely incredible. Had tears streaming while watching him play. So much love," said one fan on Twitter.
Another wrote: "This was easily the most emotional performance in a night filled with emotional performances. I'm still recovering."
The group recently released a statement about their fate following Hawkins’s death, confirming they will continue as a band, but they will be a “different band going forward”.
Addressing fans, they said: “When we see you again – and we will soon – he’ll be there in spirit with all of us every night.”
The band is scheduled to resume touring and headlining festivals in May.
