Chelsea return to Premier League action on Saturday when they welcome Wolves to the capital and will be hoping to have the majority of their first-team squad fit and available for the contest.
Graham Potter was able to welcome back a number of players to the matchday squad for Wednesday’s Champions League clash with AC Milan and will be hoping for similar luck when the Blues return to domestic action this weekend, although he suffered a big blow to one of his defenders.
Here is all you need to know about the state of play at Stamford Bridge and the expected return dates for those out injured.
Wesley Fofana
Chelsea suffered a fresh injury blow in the form of centre back Wesley Fofana during Wednesday's 3-0 victory over AC Milan in the Champions League, with the defender forced off after just 38 minutes of the contest after suffering a knock to his knee.
The 21-year-old has put the Blues ahead with his first goal for the club in the 24th minute, only to see his game ended prematurely shortly after. Potter has since revealed the extent of the Frenchman's injury, with it feared that he could be set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Speaking on Wednesday, Potter said: "We’ll have to scan it tomorrow and see how he is but there’s nothing to report at the moment. That’s the one disappointing thing about the evening so we have our fingers crossed. We’re concerned but I don’t want to speculate on it now."

N’Golo Kante
N’Golo Kante is closing in on a return to action after recently re-joining first-team training in a reduced capacity. The Frenchman has endured a lengthy spell on the sidelines as a result of the hamstring injury he picked up in the 2-2 draw with Tottenham on August 14.
Ahead of Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace, it was revealed that the midfielder has been doing ‘some lighter work’ and, after missing Chelsea ’s last eight games in all competitions, could be set to return to the matchday squad this weekend.
In a fresh update on Tuesday, Potter said: “N'Golo is training more and more. Not fully but getting closer. That is really positive. That’s about it I think.”
Carney Chukwuemeka
Summer signing Carney Chukwuemeka is yet to make his senior debut for Chelsea since sealing a summer switch from Premier League rivals Aston Villa for £20million, although he has missed out on a place in the last two matchday squads after suffering a bout of illness.
Potter revealed ahead of last weekend's victory over Crystal Palace that the midfielder was suffering with illness alongside fellow summer recruit Marc Cucurella, but it was only the Spaniard who recovered in time to return to the fold for Wednesday's clash with AC Milan. However, Chukwuemeka could be involved once more on Saturday.
Speaking on September 30, Potter said: "We've got a bit of illness with Marc and Carney (Chukwuemeka)."
