Floyd Mayweather asked to extend the length of the rounds in the middle of his latest exhibition fight against Don Moore.
Mayweather was taken the distance by former sparring partner Don Moore as the pair met over eight two-minute rounds in an exhibition clash in the Middle East. The fight was supposed to take place last Saturday, but was pushed back after the passing of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
The skill-gap between the two fighters was evident as the fight got underway, with Mayweather using his speed advantage to best Moore in the early exchanges. 'Money' continued to put on a show and winked at the camera whilst calling for three-minute rounds at the halfway stage.
Moore was being outclassed by Mayweather, who landed one his best combinations of the fight in the fifth round. The former five-weight world champion made sure to entertain the crowd by dancing with the ring girls and replying to the commentary team mid-fight.

With just 30 seconds left in the fight, Mayweather dropped Moore with a body shot. He went in for the kill as the fight came to an end, leaving Moore desperately backpedalling to survive the eight-round distance.
"I would like to thank everybody in the UAE, the media, and everybody who covered this fight," Mayweather said after the final bell. "This is one of the best countries in the world.
"Don Moore is still undefeated, we are both still undefeated. I will bring another fight back to the UAE this year. It's a secret. I don't want to let the cat out the bag right now but we have an opponent, and I choose the UAE."
Mayweather retired from his professional career with a flawless record of 50-0, stopping UFC star Conor McGregor in the last bout of his illustrious career. He has since competed in three exhibition fights, challenging Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa and YouTube star Logan Paul before outclassing Moore.
A potential opponent for Mayweather's next exhibition is fellow boxing legend Amir Khan, who announced his retirement after his stoppage loss to Kell Brook. Mayweather, who is expected to have earned around $100 million for his latest exploit, recently told Khan that he shouldn't have retired.
“Floyd said to me ‘Look, we should get it on' and I said ‘Brother, tomorrow I’m going to announce my retirement' and he goes ‘No, I don’t think you should’," Khan revealed.
