Floyd Mayweather promoter Leonard Ellerbe has hit out at rival promoter Eddie Hearn, claiming he "doesn't know what the f*** he is doing".
Hearn has a deal with streaming service DAZN which showcases his Matchroom Boxing stable around the world, including venturing into the United States. The British star has been promoting high-profile events across the pond including Canelo Alvarez's defeat to Dmitry Bivol and Katie Taylor's victory over Amanda Serrano.
But Ellerbe has continued his feud with Hearn, accusing him of having "no knowledge" of the US market and has claimed his rival promoter wants to be bigger than his fighters. "He has come over to the United States to take over boxing with a $1billion budget and what he has done is come over without any knowledge of the market," Ellerbe told Showtime.
"I am happy for the fighters who got paid, but he doesn't know what the f*** he is doing. One thing he is really good at is he has done a great job with women. I will give him credit for that. But as far as the American market he knows nothing about it because he has nothing to show for it.
"He speaks on these things because he is a very jealous guy and he thought he was going to come over with a big cheque book but there is a method to this. Myself, Al Haymon and Floyd Mayweather we know what to do here. We hold all the records. He has the loudest mouth he wants to be bigger than the fighters.
"You can't come over to the US thinking you can be loud and that it will get you anywhere. You don't have access to any of the top fighters out there. You have completely f***** up Anthony Joshua's career and done the same thing with Canelo [Alvarez]."

Ellerbe's renewal of his rivalry with Hearn comes after he previously claimed that Hearn had "blown" his entire $1 budget with DAZN. Hearn has been trading words with the American on social media, with a fight between the pair even proposed. Hearn previously claimed he was 100 times bigger than Ellerbe in the world of boxing and believes Matchroom Boxing is the leading promotion company in the sport.
He told Pro Boxing Fans : “If I don’t know what I’m doing, why am I a hundred times bigger than Leonard Ellerbe? Why are we the biggest global promotional company in the world, bar none? And Leonard Ellerbe is not even relevant actually in the boxing industry. When you talk about the top promoters in the world, do you mention Leonard Ellerbe? Let’s be honest – not in a million years."
