Floyd Mayweather has been told to produce proof that he paid Logan Paul for their exhibition fight last year.
YouTube star Paul was guaranteed a £14million payday for going eight rounds with former world champion Mayweather last June. Although no official winner was announced after the fight, 'Money' out-landed Paul despite throwing 100 punches fewer than his rival.
A year has since passed since the entertaining contest and Paul claims he is still owed several million pounds by Mayweather, who likened the fight to a "legalised bank robbery" and claimed he earned £52million. Mayweather has told Paul to be patient and he will receive the money, claiming earnings from pay-per-view sales often take time to be processed.
MMA analyst Chael Sonnen has now weighed in on the situation, telling Mayweather to produce proof of his payment to Paul. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Sonnen said: "This is real easy, you have a banking app on your phone. Pull that up and in 15 seconds you can show the transfer, boom it's right there or just show the cashed cheque. I'm quite sure it would have been a wire transfer, either way you'd have a document of it.

"Maybe the numbers weren't quite what Logan thought they were going to be, you're talking about an auditing situation or an accounting error. That's very different than not being paid, [Logan] saying he's not been paid and Floyd's saying he was.
"That's extremely provable but Floyd didn't prove it. He didn't have an interest in proving it, he's not going to be able to do business here in the States with anybody else. Nobody is going to sign on."
Mayweather claims he is still collecting payments from fights he had seven years ago and thinks Paul should be happy with getting the biggest pay cheque of his life. Sonnen thinks the pair need to resolve the issue and that Paul would have little to gain from making false accusations.
"When you question a man's integrity, which is 100 per cent what is being questioned here - to the point that it's interfering with a press conference Floyd's doing about a pro wrestling event he's got coming up in Japan - tou would think that you'd like to solve this problem," Sonnen added.
"I would like to get to the bottom of this, one of them is right and one of them is wrong. There is an accusation here that is tremendous, if you accuse a man of not paying and not honouring his deal. This would be tremendous slander by Logan Paul, who would seem to have nothing to gain."
