Flowers have been left in tribute outside a home in Gateshead after a man died from "serious injuries".
Emergency services were called to a property on Clavering Road in Winlaton at around 9.20am on Tuesday, May 17 following a report of "concern for a man". Inside, police found a 47-year-old man who was seriously injured and sadly died at the scene.

Northumbria Police have confirmed an investigation is now under way and that the man's death is being treated as "unexplained." His next of kin are aware and being supported by specialist officers at this difficult time.
Now a bouquet of flowers have been left near the police cordon which remained on the street on Wednesday morning.
A police cordon was put in place on a section of Clavering Road and the back lane behind it on Tuesday as police and forensic teams carried out investigations. The cordon remained in place on Tuesday evening with officers stationed outside of the home where the man was found. The windows of the property were smashed.
Neighbours on Clavering Road spoke of their shock on Tuesday at seeing a heavy police in the area.
One resident, who did not wish to be named, said: "When I came back from work at 1pm the police were here along with two ambulances, a paramedic's car, and a fire engine. It is weird to see something going on like that on your doorstep."
Another resident who also wanted to remain anonymous, said: "I saw police cars on Clavering Road at around 3.30am. They left and then came back again at around 9am."
Another resident said: "I don't know what is going on. I had been out all day and come back to see the police cordon on the street. It is a shock."
Officers have encouraged anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the force immediately.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said: “Shortly before 9.20am today (Tuesday), police received a report of concern for a man at an address on Clavering Road in Swalwell, Gateshead. Emergency services attended where a man with serious injuries was found inside of the address.
“Sadly, despite their best efforts, the 47-year-old man died at the scene. His next of kin are aware and being supported by specialist officers.
“The man’s death is currently being treated as unexplained. Anyone with information should contact police quoting refence NP-20220517-0232.”
The ambulance service confirmed they sent three ambulance crews to a "medical incident" at a home in the area.
A North East Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called to a medical incident at a private address in Blaydon at 9.35am, and dispatched three ambulance crews and a clinical team leader."
