Friends, family and members of the community have laid flowers in tribute to schoolgirl who died on Monday night.
15-year-old schoolgirl Keely Morgan was knocked over by a car on Monday, May 1, and pronounced dead at the scene. Keely was hit by a black Vauxhall Astra on Heol Trelai in Caerau on Monday night. A 40-year-old has been was arrested on suspicion of causing death by driving without due care. Read more on the story here.
Mourners laid flowers and messages in memory o "beautiful girl" Keely at the scene in Caerau, Cardiff. One message reads "Rest in peace easy my beautiful girl. I love you endlessly my girl, you will always be remembered by everyone."
Tributes have been paid to Keely by her family and her teachers at Cardiff West Community High School. Head teacher, Martin Hulland said, "There was an enormous sense of shock and a huge outpouring of grief as we received the terrible news yesterday. Keely was an exceptional student who loved school. She was a good friend to many students".
Keely's mum, Sian Morgan and stepdad Liam Coulthard said, "Keely always had such a beautiful smile that would light up a room. She was sensible, kind and not one person ever had a bad word to say about her. Rest in peace Keely. You will never be forgotten."
