Floridians Must Apply Separately For Hurricane Relief For Each Storm.

Hurricane Nicole takes aim at Florida's Atlantic coast

Residents in Florida who have been impacted by multiple hurricanes will need to apply for separate hurricane relief for each storm they were affected by, according to Deanne Criswell, administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). This means that even if a person experienced damage from both Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, they must submit separate applications for each incident.

During a news conference with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Criswell emphasized the importance of specifying the dates and damages incurred from each storm. She explained that individuals affected by multiple hurricanes are eligible for different funding and additional assistance due to the double damages they have experienced.
