A Florida woman was arrested for attempted murder after allegedly telling a 10-year-old on Roblox how to kill a 2-month-old baby and harm the adults in his home, according to a report.

Escambia County Sheriff's Office in Pensacola, Florida, were alerted by the Gulf Coast Kids House after a serious incident in which a 2-month-old infant sustained injuries after being dropped on a kitchen floor by the 10-year-old, WKRG reported.

After further investigation, it was discovered that Tara Alexis Sykes was sending the child messages on a gaming platform, allegedly providing detailed instructions on how to kill the baby and hurt others around him.

Sykes is facing charges of attempted murder and aggravated child abuse, with officials revealing disturbing details about her messages, including how to drown the baby, scald it with hot water, and set the house on fire.

She is also accused of telling the child to slice the adult's throats in the house while they slept and to drench their bed with aerosol spray so it could catch fire easier.

"I have been in Law Enforcement for over 40 years and have never seen anything quite like this," Sheriff Chip W. Simmons told the outlet. "I am truly disturbed by the circumstances and the thought that anyone could think like this, let alone instruct these acts to be carried out. There is something really wrong with her."

Sykes is being held without bond. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected to follow.
