Florida State wide receiver Johnny Wilson is expected to enter the 2024 NFL draft, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Wilson, who came to FSU in 2022 after two seasons at Arizona State, quickly became one of quarterback Jordan Travis’s favorite targets. This season, Wilson finished second on the team in receptions (41), yards (617) and touchdowns (2) behind wide receiver Keon Coleman.
In the ’22 campaign, Wilson caught 43 passes for 897 yards and five touchdowns. Thamel reported that Wilson will participate in the Senior Bowl. His collegiate career will wrap up with 102 receptions for 1,757 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 17.2 yards per catch.
After the postseason all-star game, Wilson will also have the opportunity to participate in the NFL Combine in Indianapolis from Feb. 26 to March 4, 2024, and the Seminoles’ Pro Day. The 2024 NFL draft will take place in Detroit, with the first round beginning on April 25.
The second and third rounds will take place on April 26, followed by the fourth and seventh rounds on April 27.
