The Florida Panthers led the Winnipeg Jets from start to finish, delivering a 5-0 shutout for a red-hot Jets team that falls to 15-3 on the season.
The defending Stanley Cup Champions dominated the game, scoring in each period, 1 goal in the first, 3 in the second, and 1 in the third to dampen the Jets. The Jets have now lost two straight games to Florida teams. Thursday night, they lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-1.
It is a long hockey season, and the Winnipeg Jets have gotten off to an unbelievable start. Slumps are bound to happen. That did not stop the Panthers fans from enjoying the moment. They chanted “overrated” to the Jets after the loss.

The Jets get another crack at the Florida Panthers in their next game in Winnipeg on Tuesday, November 19 at 8 PM EST.
Jets out of their league v Panthers losing 5-0. Jets simply outworked and outclassed by the Stanley Cup champs who won every puck battle. Jets did show some fight in 3rd period as tempers were short which means two teams will be in fowl mood come Tuesday night back in Winnipeg

Panthers Coach Paul Maurice Reflects
Florida Panthers head coach Paul Maurice described the Winnipeg Jets, whom he coached from 2014-2021, as a team with no weaknesses and players at their peaks.
“There’s not really any holes on that team.”

He also clarified his comment after the Panthers won the Stanley Cup. At that time, he said his wish was for the Winnipeg Jets to win the Stanley Cup also. Maurice laughed it off hinting that is his wish in due time but not necessarily in 2025 as the Panthers would like to repeat.
Paul Maurice amping up the Winnipeg Jets immediately after winning the cup and then just utterly obliterating them at the first opportunity is pretty awesome ngl

The Winnipeg Jets Remain In First Place
The Jets have the Minnesota Wild at 11-2-3, Dallas Stars at 10-5, and Colorado Avalanche at 9-9 on their heels. The Central Division is competitive so the team needs to regroup and resume the winning ways.
The Panthers proving a fact. The Winnipeg Jets when playing playoff style hockey completely disappear. Just like they did in their first round last season against Colorado.#TimeToHunt #NHL #FlaPanthers #GoJetsGo pic.twitter.com/IGXIpgvMy5
