A Florida man so convincingly portrayed tech billionaire Elon Musk via Facebook that he allegedly manipulated an elderly woman into investing her life savings into his pressure washing business, NBC 6 South Florida reported.

Bradenton resident Jeffrey Arthur Moynihan, Jr., 56, exchanged Facebook messages with the 74-year-old woman for several months.

During that time, he convinced her to send him up to $600,000, her husband told NBC 6, as an investment in his business. In return, she would receive $55 million.

It's unclear how police unearthed his alleged scheme, but Moynihan was arrested Wednesday and charged with grand theft.
