Florence + The Machine has today announced the rescheduled shows on the Dance Fever tour, which will take place in early 2023. The band were forced to cancel their appearance at Manchester's AO Arena scheduled for November 22, after frontwoman Florence Welch revealed she had sustained an injury.
The rescheduled performances have now been revealed, beginning January 28 at the O2 and culminating on February 8 at Dublin’s 3 Arena. The band will perform in Manchester on Tuesday, February 3, before moving on to Leeds on Wednesday, February 4.
Dance Fever, released in May, was met with four and five star reviews across the board and entered the UK Album Charts at #1. It was recorded in London over the course of the pandemic and was produced by Florence, Jack Antonoff and Dave Bayley of Glass Animals.

After completing two shows on the UK & Ireland leg earlier this month, including the first of two at London’s O2, Welch sustained an injury onstage which forced the postponement of the remaining dates. The singer said it was ‘not in her nature’ to postpone a show but a broken foot has left her with no choice.
The Shake It Out singer said she was left ‘heartbroken’ but advised fans to hold onto their tickets as the remainder of the tour would be rescheduled. A statement posted to social media from the band’s account at the time read: “I’m so sorry to say that after an x ray it seems I was dancing on a broken foot last night.
“It is not in my nature to postpone a show, and certainly not a UK tour, but I’m in pain and as dancers know, dancing on an injury is not a good idea. And have been told not to perform to avoid further damage.
“Please hang on to your tickets. We are working our hardest to reschedule these dates for next year and we will let you know as soon as possible. I’m heartbroken as the Dance Fever tour has been my favourite show we have ever put on. The communion with you. Your beautiful faces shining.
“I love you so much, I’m so sorry to anyone who is disappointed. My heart is aching. I can’t wait to be back on my feet and back in your arms. X x”. The advice to hold on to tickets until another announcement was made, was reiterated by the AO Arena.
Tickets for Florence + The Machine's 2022 tour went on sale on March 25, and celebrate the release of the band's fifth studio album, Dance Fever.
