Little Women star Florence Pugh has responded to criticism of her relationship with Zach Braff, after a social media user made a pointed remark about their 21 year age gap.
The couple, who are believed to have been dating since April, shut down a commenter on Instagram after they directly addressed the Garden State star underneath one of her posts.
Pugh shared a picture of herself outside Greenblatt’s Deli in Los Angeles, holding her hand up as she posed in a casual outfit. She captioned the post, “First pit-stop, Matzo Ball soup. #curingjetlag101”
The 23 year old was seen wearing a bright red jumper, which read ‘Don’t forget to love.’ Ironically, after Braff left a princess emoji on her post one commenter immediately responded to him, “You’re 44 years old.”
Pugh didn’t let the comment slide however and addressed the commenter directly, “and yet he got it.”
She also included an emoji of a hand making the OK sign. Her comment swiftly racked up over 2000 likes.
Pugh and Braff were first seen together in April according to People and have been seen on dates since, including at the premiere of Little Women (where they were snapped separately).
Beyond their romance, the pair also work closely together as they worked on a short film called In the Time It Takes To Get There; which Pugh starred in and Braff developed.
They will work together again in a film called The Secret Ingredients of Rocket Cola, which Braff is set to direct.
