A flight attendant has urged travellers to avoid one specific drink before flights for their own good.
Sarah Goodwin, who works for Virgin Australia, has advised passengers not to succumb to temptation and buy an airport coffee.
The TikToker suggested that caffeinated drinks of any sort are particularly bad news if you're a nervous flyer.
"Before your flight, try not to have anything caffeine-related because that can enhance your anxiety and make you more nervous and jittery," she said.
During a flight drinking caffeinated drinks - such as coffee, Red Bull and Buckfast - can have a similar impact on the body as alcohol.
The dehydrated effects of both substances can lead to more drinking, which in turn leads to more trips to the bathroom.
On packed flights when you're stuck in the middle seat - as one thirsty passenger recently found - frequent toilet breaks can prove difficult.
Caffeine can also cause headaches and insomnia, which are also unpleasant.
However, for many people the risk of such ailments and an increased bathroom schedule will be a small price to pay for a cup of delicious coffee.
Last year another TikTok flight attendant, Kat Kamalani, sounded the alarm about drinking tea and coffee onboard planes, but for a different reason.
In a video the social media star warned passengers that there are some things they should never do on a plane.
She claimed that water tanks on planes are rarely cleaned, and so any drinks which rely on them might be best avoided.
She warned: "Talk to a flight attendant, we rarely, rarely drink the tea or coffee.
"They come from the same water tank and so when you're drinking that coffee and tea it comes from that hot water and it's absolutely disgusting.
"The parts in the coffee machine won't be cleaned unless they are broken and the whole machine is never cleaned and they're by the lavatories."
