It is no secret plane passengers often covet window seats because of the view they afford.
But it might not be the best option depending on how you are planning to spend the flight.
Cabin crew have revealed there are certain seats you might want to avoid, if you are hoping to enjoy a nap onboard.
And the reason has nothing to do with passenger etiquette.
While everyone knows falling asleep on your neighbour's shoulder is a no-no, you ought not to lean against the window either.
Cabin crew member Tommy Cimato revealed it is because not all parts of the plane are as clean as others.

“Do not fall asleep or lean your head on the window,” he said.
Tommy warns the window is best avoided because you can't be sure if it has been cleaned or not, and you certainly don't know how many people have done the same before you.
“You are not the only one that has done that and you don't know how many people or children have wiped their hands or other things all over the window," he pointed out.
But windows aren't the only dirty spots passengers should keep in mind.
The seats themselves can also be a cause for concern. Of course, you can't avoid the seats in the same way as the windows, but you can stick to trousers or other clothes that cover your legs for a more hygienic flight.
The choice is yours, but Tommy strongly recommends steering clear of shorts.
He said: “Don’t or try not to wear shorts when you're on a plane.
“It's the same thing as the window – you never know how clean it's going to be, so if you have pants, you're going to have less germs.”
