A flaming meteor was spotted burning through the sky over the weekend by eagle eyed viewers.
The rock left a green and blue trial as it entered the earth's atmosphere on Saturday, January 29, and was seen in clear skies right across the UK.
Many people took to social media to question what the "bright light" actually was and people in Merseyside were left wondering if it was an unidentified flying object (UFO).
