A main road in east Manchester remains taped off with emergency services on the scene after a serious crash involving five vehicles.
Police officers, paramedics and fire crews were scrambled to the scene on Hyde Road in Gorton, near Debdale Park and the Reddish bridge, just after 10am this morning (Sunday). A stretch of the road was taped off as crews responded.
A spokesperson for the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said five vehicles were involved. One person was cut from a vehicle.

At least two other people were assessed at the scene by paramedics. The extent of any injuries have not yet been confirmed, with Greater Manchester Police expected to release further details later.
Pictures show at least one damaged vehicle on its roof within the cordon. A screen has also been erected within the tape.

One resident on Hyde Road said she heard an 'almighty bang' from her living room just after 10am. She said she saw the overturned car in the road.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: "At around 10:10am this morning (Sunday 30 April) we were called to attend the scene of a road traffic collision involving five vehicles near the junction of Hyde Road and Wall Way, Manchester.
"Two fire engines from Gorton fire station and the Technical Response Unit from Leigh were quickly mobilised to attend. Firefighters used cutting equipment to extricate one casualty from one of the vehicles and transfer them into the care of paramedics from North West Ambulance Service.
"Two other people were also assessed at the scene by colleagues from NWAS. Crews were in attendance for around an hour and a half.”
