Five Thai nationals who were released from captivity by Hamas in Gaza have been reported to be in good condition, according to Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar. The group underwent an initial medical examination which confirmed their well-being. The information was shared during a call between Sa’ar and Thai Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa.
Following the medical assessment, the individuals were airlifted to a hospital for further evaluation and care. Sa’ar expressed his gratitude to Sangiampongsa for the cooperation and communication with the mediators that led to the successful release of the foreign hostages.
As a gesture of appreciation, Sangiampongsa is scheduled to visit Israel next week for a meeting with Sa’ar to further strengthen diplomatic ties between the two nations.
