Five Thai hostages who were recently freed have been brought to the Shamir Medical Center near Rishon Lezion in central Israel for medical evaluation. The men, identified as Pongsak Thanna, Sathian Suwannakham, Watchara Sriaoun, Bannawat Saethao, and Surasak Lamnao, underwent initial medical examinations to assess their individual treatment needs, as confirmed by the hospital's spokesperson.

The hospital spokesperson, Liad Avial, mentioned that a comprehensive update on their conditions will be provided in a subsequent statement. The Israeli military has informed that the Thai hostages are accompanied by representatives from the Thai government during their stay at the medical center.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar communicated with his Thai counterpart Maris Sangiampongsa to convey that the group has undergone an initial medical assessment, which indicated that they are in good health.
