Two people are seriously ill, after five young people were taken to hospital after an early morning crash. The five were all in a red Suzuki Alto that crashed on Rhiwbina Hill on Wednesday (July 13).
South Wales Police said that the Alto was the only vehicle involved in 4.45am crash on the road that runs between Cardiff and Caerphilly. A spokeswoman said that a 16-year-old boy, a 17-year-old girl, a 17-year-old boy, an 18-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man were all taken to hospital.

They were all treated at the University Hospital Wales, where the girl and woman remain in a serious condition. Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or from anyone who saw the manner in which the red Suzuki Alto was being driven prior to the incident and from anyone with video/ dash cam footage.
