It's becoming more and more common for cafes and similar venues to allow your dog to join you for a morning coffee stop.
A puppuccino is a cup of whipped cream safe for most dogs to have, generally served in one of the smaller cups, perfect for a pup's nose to get into.
It is a treat without the caffeine and it’s one of the most popular items on Starbucks’ secret menu.

There are also a number of other venues around Cardiff where you can treat your canine pal with one - here are five places below.
Scruffy Pups, Ball Lane, Llanrumney
This dog café offers a range of services including grooming, washing, obedience training, a play area, or you can just pop in for a puppuccino.

Starbucks, various locations
Starbucks is known for serving pretty much any combination of drink you could ask for - coffees, teas, syrups, chocolate, different types of milk, but one thing you may not know is they also serve puppuccinos for your dog.
Puppuccinos are on Starbucks’ secret menu, meaning it is not advertised in store.
Next time you pass a Starbucks with your dog, pop in and buy both a treat for both of you.
Costa, various locations
Similarly to Starbucks, Costa also serves puppuccinos without strictly advertising them.
Just go up to the bar while you’re ordering your own drink, and the barista should be able to sort you out with a dog equivalent too.
Coffi Co, various locations
Does it get much better than a stroll around the bay followed by a nice refreshing Puppuccino? Your dog says no.
Coffi Co has cafes in Cardiff Bay, Bayscape, Cathays and Porthcawl so visit your local and ask for the specialty drink.
Snack Shack, Heathwood Road, Llanishen
This completely dog friendly café provides Puppuccinos, free dog treats and even supplies dog poo bags if you have left yours at home or find yourself running out.
They have a sign in the shop saying “help pawself” in front of their dog treats.
Located on the Rhydypenau roundabout in Cardiff, it also provides a variety of human food and drinks.
