Five Guys has opened its first location on Wirral.
The fast-food giant has announced that it opened its latest location at The Croft Retail & Leisure Park, in Welton Road in Bromborough today. The chain has expanded across the North West in recent years and opened its first restaurant in Liverpool city centre in 2017.
The Bromborough location will be a closer-to-home option for Birkenhead residents as the next closest venue is Cheshire Oaks. Five Guys already has multiple stores running throughout the city including spots atop Chavasse Park in Liverpool ONE and Queen's Square.

Five Guys was established in 1986 by the Murrell family in Virginia and launched in the UK in 2013, opening in Covent Garden. The restaurant claim there are over 250,000 possible burger order combinations including double patties, lettuce-wrapped burgers, or grilled cheeses.
The new venue will be in good company, surrounded by Burger King, KFC, and Subway, along with a large selection of home and hobby stores. Last week signs were spotted advertising the launch have appeared outside of the unit announcing the takeover.
Five Guys said it prides itself on using the freshest ingredients, and customers can find out which local farm the potatoes have come from by checking out the restaurant’s notice board. The fries are hand cut every morning and cooked in peanut oil there are also 1000 possible ways to customise your milkshake.
There is also a variety of of hot dog options, BLT, or veggie sandwiches. Visitors can also pick if they want their fries Cajun spiced or salted while washing their meal down with a choice of milkshake flavours.
