Five Dead In Duluth, Minnesota Double Homicide-Suicide Investigation

Authorities in Duluth, Minnesota are currently conducting an active investigation following a devastating incident that resulted in the deaths of five individuals across two separate residences in West Duluth.

The distressing discovery was made on Thursday afternoon around 2:10 p.m. when Duluth Police responded to a welfare check call in the 6000 block of Tacony Street. Upon arrival, officers found the lifeless bodies of a 47-year-old woman and a juvenile inside the residence.

Further investigation led authorities to a suspect located in a home in the 4400 block of West 6th Street. Upon entering the premises, law enforcement officers uncovered the bodies of a 45-year-old female, another juvenile, and the suspect, a 46-year-old male. All three individuals had succumbed to gunshot wounds, with the suspect having taken his own life through a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

While the police believe that the victims were acquainted with each other, their identities have not been disclosed as of yet, pending notification of their next of kin. The investigation into this heartbreaking incident is still ongoing, with authorities planning to hold a press conference to provide further details in the near future.
