Three streets in Airdrie will each be closed for five days next month for roadworks.
Broompark Crescent in the town and Ballochney Road in Plains will both be subject to drainage investigations, while nearby Plains street Stepends Road will shut for five days for carriageway resurfacing.
First to shut will be Ballochney Road on Monday, June 13, between Heatheryford Gardens and Arondale Road, with drivers being diverted via Meadowfield Road, Main Street and Arbuckle Road.
Broompark Crescent will then be shut between Dykehead Road and Strathmore Crescent for five days from Wednesday, June 15; the alternative route for vehicles will be using Springholm Drive.
Stepends Road in Plains will then be resurfaced over five days from Thursday, June 16, with traffic being diverted via Brownieside Road and Main Street.
All three sets of works will be completed by contractors Amey on behalf of North Lanarkshire Council, and the road closure notices state that “vehicular and pedestrian access will be permitted where practical” during the closures.
