Two men in their 30s and three teens have been arrested and charged in connection with culpable and reckless conduct after pyrotechnics were set off during the Rangers match against Aberdeen last month.
The men, aged 37, 33 and 18, and a further two males, aged 16 and 17, were charged in relation to pyrotechnics being set alight within Pittodrie Stadium and also in the King Street area prior to the match on 18 January.
Four of the accused are from Aberdeen and the fifth is from Glasgow.
All are subject of reports to the Procurator Fiscal and The Children's Reporter.
Football banning orders are also being sought which will restrict access to football matches.
Enquiries are continuing to identify further offenders.
Inspector Mike McKenzie, Divisional Alcohol and Violence Reduction Unit, warned: “Pyrotechnics are inherently dangerous and present a risk of serious injury to those who discharge them and those around them.
"I would ask fans to consider their own safety and wider public safety. We will deal robustly with anyone who chooses to use pyrotechnics illegally."
Anyone who has any information which could assist with the ongoing investigation is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101.
