Ed Sheeran has become the latest star to make the move into the food industry with the release of his very own hot sauces. But he isn’t the first one to look to the pantry for hits.
Celebrities have been releasing their own food side hustles for years. Whether it’s Ryan Renolds’ Aviation gin or Ben Affleck’s Theo Chocolate, celebrity food brands cover all kinds of food and drinks.
Now, following the launch of Sheeran’s Tingly Ted’s, we’re looking at some of the other popular celebrity food brands. However, we can’t promise whether any of these are worth it.

Lewis Capaldi’s pizza
After topping the charts with hit after hit last year, Scottish superstar Lewis Capaldi began his own pizza venture. Lewis Capaldi’s Big Sexy Pizza was inspired by the songwriter’s new-found love for making pizza during the lockdown.
Available in two flavours - The Big Sexy Cheesy One and The Big Sexy Meaty One - the pizzas are made using 24-hour sourdough bread to enhance the flavour of the crust. Find them in the frozen aisle in selected Tesco and Iceland stores.
Dan Aykroyd’s vodka
Crystal Head Vodka comes in what is arguably the coolest bottle ever. Shaped like a skull and filled with premium vodka, the brains behind the brand are none other than actor Dan Aykroyd.
Famous for his roles in The Blues Brothers, Ghostbusters and Trading Places, Aykroyd and his partner and fellow actor John Alexander have won multiple awards for the spirit. While available in some supermarkets, if you want to get your hands on the limited edition bottles that make for excellent collectables, check out Selfridges.
Jamie Lang’s sweets
You can argue until you’re blue in the face about whether Made in Chelsea star Jamie is actually a celebrity. But you cannot argue that, when it comes to vegan sweets, things don’t get much better than Candy Kittens.
Alongside business partner Ed, Jamie’s sweets are huge hits with adults for its delicious flavours. We recommend the Eton mess or sour watermelon flavours, but you’ll soon find yourself hitting the bottom of the bag and craving more.
Heather Mills’ VBites
Heather Mills’s VBites, or vegan bites, are some of the most popular meat-free substitutes, having been on the market for almost 30 years. The former model and ex-wife of Paul McCartney was inspired by the healing process she underwent after she lost her leg in a car accident in 1993.
VBites are available in all kinds of foods including vegan cheese, vegan bacon and meat-free schnitzels. You can buy them directly on the VBites website or in selected Morrisons stores.
Gareth Gates’ tea
Yep, you read this one right. Pop Idol runner-up and pop heartthrob Gareth Gates has his very own brand of coconut tea.
The biodegradable tea bags are filled with real coconut and available in three different flavours - coconut, coconut and cranberry or coconut, ginger and turmeric. The bags boast that they have “no caffeine, no nasty hidden ingredients, just pure, raw goodness in a warm cup”.
You can grab the bags directly from the Cuppanut website or in M&S and Holland & Barrett. A box of 15 bags retails for around £4.50.
