Police have revealed they issued 140 fixed penalty notices at the North Coast over the Easter weekend.
Five people were also arrested in the area for public order offences including disorderly behaviour, common assault, and assault on police over Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.
In conjunction with Driving & Vehicle Agency (DVA), they also launched a vehicle safety operation. To date, 34 vehicles have been examined, with 20 of these issued with an immediate prohibition.

That means the vehicle was not roadworthy and not permitted to continue on the road.
The drivers of over 140 vehicles were issued with fixed penalty notices for a range of motoring offences including excess speed, mobile phone and anti-social driving.
Police were managing traffic to minimise disruption and ensure the safety of the public as many people were trying to get in and out of Portrush over the bank holiday weekend.
In a statement on social media, Police Causeway Coast & Glens added: "Easter is always a busy weekend for the North Coast and this year has been no exception."
Inspector O’Brien said: “As always we are grateful for the support of residents, businesses and visitors during these peak times for our area.
"We are very much part of the community here on the North Coast and it is in all our interests to ensure that our towns are safe and vibrant areas for people to live, work and visit.”
