Charlie Cresswell is back in training after recovering from a fractured eyesocket - and the defender will return to Leeds United ready to compete for a place next season. Cresswell is part of the England U21 provisional squad for this summer's Euro U21 Championship and has been pictured training with the Young Lions at St George's Park in the build-up to the tournament.
The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Championship side Millwall but his season was cut short at the beginning of April when he suffered the injury in a goalless draw at West Bromwich Albion. Cresswell was caught in the face by Baggies striker Daryl Dike in stoppage time at The Hawthorns, and required surgery to repair the damage.
Cresswell ended up making 30 appearances in all competitions for the Lions during his spell at The Den, and scored five goals. He will return to Elland Road for pre-season training and it will be up to Leeds' new boss - when appointed - to decide whether Cresswell is part of his plans next season as the Whites prepare for a promotion campaign after slipping out of the Premier League on the final day.

Cresswell signed off his loan spell at Millwall with a message to fans of the London club, saying his farewells and adding that he will return to Leeds 'a man'. "What can I say, the journey has been incredible, I couldn’t of wished for a better club to come on loan," he said in an Instagram post.
"The staff, the fans and all the players have made my first full season one to remember. I came a 19 year old teenager and going back up north a man. Gutted I couldn't play a part in the run in but that's football. Thank you to everyone."
