The Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder exhibition opens at World Museum Liverpool on Friday, May 27 and these pictures show fans what they can expect.
Running from May until October, Doctor Who fans can explore the world of the longest running sci-fi TV show and learn more about the science behind it, including astronomy, time travel and nature. The exhibition features everything from props, costumes, gadgets, behind the scenes footage and, of course, plenty of monsters.
World Museum Liverpool has been selected for the premiere of Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder due to the show’s connection with the city. Many of the programme’s stars are from Liverpool, including Paul McGann who played the eighth Doctor and more recently John Bishop who portrayed Jodie Whittaker’s companion. Some of the city's iconic locations also feature in the show.
