A major festival site is taking shape in Ayr.
A first glimpse into the site of two huge festivals have emerged.
The town's Low Green is being completely transformed ahead of a massive weekender featuring Ayr's very own Ewan McVicar and legendary acts of dance music.
Over 12,000 fans are expected this weekend over two days, with Pavilion Festival kicking things off on Saturday before STREETrave's Festival on Ayr Beach takes centre stage on Sunday.
Scores of acts including icons Soul II Soul and Inner City are expected over the two days which coincides with the May bank holiday.
Ayrshire Live has seen a first look at how the normally peaceful green space is shaping up.
Crews first started to arrive at the massive festival site on Monday afternoon.
By this morning, a huge perimeter fence was being erected around the site.
Pictures this afternoon show workers in high-vis jackets planning the next stage.
Both festivals unveiled their Site Maps last week, with both showing a main stage in front of the iconic Ayr Pavilion and a giant Ferris Wheel are amongst the main features set to be installed.
Some images from today show what appears to be smaller tents going up, with a separate tent set to also house acts to keep the crowd entertained over the course of the weekend.
