A young woman at the centre of a murder investigation has been pictured for the first time with heartfelt tributes pouring in. Olivia Marsden, 24, was tragically found dead at home near Glossop last Sunday (June 18).

Detectives initially launched a murder investigation with a police scene remaining in place outside the property on Greenbank, Hadfield, for a number of days following her death.

Emergency services had first been called out to the scene at around 4pm on June 18. The victim was later officially named as 24-year-old Olivia Marsden.

A man in his 30s was initially arrested on suspicion of murder and a woman in her 50s on suspicion of assisting an offender. Both have now been bailed pending further enquiries.

Following her death, tributes poured in on social media. One person wrote: "You were the kindest girl I had ever met. I miss and love you so much Liv.

"You're an angel and I know you'll be watching over us. Sleep tight beautiful. You're remembered forever."

Another said: "I am truly heartbroken over Olivia and I’ve never felt pain like this. I’m also so angry with everything. She was the most sensitive most loving caring girl ever. She was one of my best friends and was always checking if I was ok.

"I don’t think I ever will come to terms with Olivia’s death but I’ll always tell people how much of a beautiful person she was. It doesn’t feel real. We used to drive around blasting songs in the car. It’s devastating and I’ll miss her forever."

Paying tribute, another person shared: "Words can’t even describe how I am feeling right now, she didn’t deserve this at all. Such a kind-hearted, funny and loving girl. All the memories, all the laughter we will never forget."
