Tributes have flooded in for a "lovely lad" and "one in a million" friend who was found dead on train tracks.
British Transport Police were called to Huyton Train Station at around 10.29pm on Thursday, July 21 to reports of a body on the tracks. Paramedics also went to the scene to provide treatment, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The force confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious, the man's next of kin have been informed and a file is being prepared for the coroner. The man was named locally as Rikki Warnick.

A spokesperson from British Transport Police said: "British Transport Police were called to the line near Huyton at 10.29pm Thursday evening (21 July) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended and sadly a man was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
Since his death, thousands of people have payed tribute to Rikki and sent well wishes to his family.
