The girlfriend of a Dumbartonshire teen has paid tribute online to her 'best friend' after he sadly lost his life whilst on holiday in Greece following a quad bike crash.
The teen, named locally as Ryan Bennet, was enjoying his time in Zakynthos with friends when he was involved in the incident on Friday morning.
Emergency services raced to the scene and took the 19-year-old to Zakynthos hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
It is believed that the quad bike veered off the path and that another teenager suffered minor injuries.

Local news site ERT Zakynthos reports that both of those involved were wearing helmets at the time of the incident.
After the tragic news Ryan's girlfriend Caitlin Ball said she has been left devastated by the loss.
Caitlin wrote: "Today I lost the most important boy in my life and there is simply no way I could ever even begin to describe how losing your best friend like this feels. Ryan you are everything I ever wanted and so much more.
"I appreciate every single bit of love you have ever given me. I love you with my whole heart forever I hope I make you as proud as you make me my love."
Family members have also taken to social media to pay tribute to the beloved teen from Alexandria
Ryan's grandmother, Linda Duncan, wrote: "Our hearts are broken, our darling grandson, sleep tight Nana xx."
And another relative said: "Absolutely heartbroken. My gorgeous cousin taken far too soon. I love you so much."
One of the teen's uncles, Craig Duncan, added: "Ryan. My heart's Broken wee man. You will never be forgotten, Ever. Until We meet again. You were Simply the best. Love you Always. Uncle Craig.
An auntie, Lindsay Duncan, posted: "My gorgeous nephew. Love u loads. Taken far too soon."
The Police Department of Alykon of Zakynthos are carrying out an investigation ith a postmortem due to take place.
A spokesperson for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said: “We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Greece and are in contact with the local authorities.”
