A UK airport has pulled the plug on the 100ml restriction on liquids in hand luggage for travelling parties.
The current restriction - which is still in place at all other UK airports - stipulates that you can carry on liquids which are less than 100ml in quantity, but they must be places in a re-sealable plastic bag not exceeding one litre or 20cm x 20cm.
It's also worth noting that each customer is only allowed one bag with liquids in.

The Mirror reports however, that London City Airport has set a trend by becoming the first airport to scrap the rule entirely. Under the airport's new restrictions, travellers will be able to carry on up to two litres of liquid - with toiletries no longer having to be put in separate bags.
The move comes after the airport recently installed new high-tech scanning devices, which allow electronics to be kept in hand luggage as opposed to being stowed away in the hold. Airlines flying out of London City Airport include the likes of British Airways, KLM and Lufthansa.
And there's more good news for those who have flights planned with TUI, Ryanair, Jet2 and many more - with other UK airports expected to scrap the rules by June next year, as a nationwide roll-out takes place. For now however, it's just London City Airport that has ditched the restriction.
So if you've got plans of a getaway from a different departing airport, you'll still need to stick to the rules. It's also worth considering that just because limits don't apply on outbound journeys doesn't mean that they wont upon return - so check your destination's own policies before travelling to avoid disappointment and disruption.
Travellers are also advised to stay mindful of other rules with regards to what is acceptable as hand luggage, with band remaining on the likes of corkscrews, knives, scissors over 6cm, non-safety matches, in excess of one lighter, fireworks and flares.
The ban on sharps and explosives will unsurprisingly remain in place - as will the ban on sporting equipment like bats, golf clubs, darts and caterpults. Firearms, harpoons, spear guns and MMA equipment also remains prohibited when boarding a flight.
You should also check on the rules of the country you're travelling to before departure, in case things like E-Cigarettes and vapes are illegal - like they are in Thailand - to prevent you landing yourself in trouble upon arrival.
