New CGIs of what will replace a landmark building in Manchester city centre have been revealed as the plans were officially submitted for consideration.
Oval Real Estate is behind the proposals for Albert Bridge House site on Bridge Street which were first revealed in September 2022.
Designed by Studio Egret West, the plans would see the 18-storey Albert Bridge House, which was recently vacated by HMRC, demolished.

In its place would be a new building with c.365,000 sq. ft of workspace standing at 19-storeys high.
Another building with 367 build-to-rent apartments would also be constructed and would step up between 34 and 34 storeys.
It would also feature a gym, bouldering wall, rooftop gardens, cinema room and private dining facilities.

Subject to planning, construction could start towards the end of 2023.
