First Look: Opening A Huge Box Of Brand New 'Fornite' Toys

So many Fortnite toys, so little time.

The holiday season is officially upon us, and lucky for Fortnite fans, there is a literal slew of officially licensed toys making their way to store shelves in the coming months. Today, we’ve got something really special, a first look at Jazwares’ slick line of collectible figures and playsets, all of which should be available at US retailers starting tomorrow. I’m predicting that these will be extremely popular and will probably sell out quickly, so if you have even have the faintest interest in these products, I’d maybe suggest heading to a Target or a Walmart on December 1 to grab what you need for gifts.

These toys are going to be super popular.

Solo Mode Figures, $12.99

Sitting at the center of this brand new Fortnite toy line are the Solo Mode characters, 4-inch-tall action figures that sport 19 points of articulation. Each figure comes packed with a unique harvesting tool and one plastic piece of wooden building material that doubles as a stand for the character. I’m liking these, as they’ve got a real classic action figure vibe going on. They’re definitely going to get swiped up first in the rush tomorrow.

Early Game Survival Kit, $19.99

Next in line is a sort of step up from the Solo Mode packs, in that you just get more stuff included. You’re also going to pay a few bucks on top of the $13 to get those extras. The Early Game Survival Kit comes with one 4-inch figure, a harvesting tool, some back bling, a weapon and a piece of building material that, of course, doubles as a display stand.

Loot Chest, $9.99

Ever imagine that a toy could have micro-transactions? It seems we’ve officially arrived. These basically serve the function that they do in-game: Provide collectors with a randomized, or blind bag, assortment of loot for their 4-inch figures. Chests contain any and all rarities of back bling and weapons. Of all the products on this list, I can see this one driving parents the craziest, because the search for the perfect toy loadout will never end.

Loot Chest

Fortnite Llama Drama Loot Pinata, $24.99

This is basically a bigger version of the Loot Chest, in the form of a titular llama pinata that you can actually break open. It contains 23 pieces of accessories, like weapons, back bling and building materials. Again, I can see this unassuming product driving parents mad, because it’s essentially one giant blind bag filled with extras that kids are sure to want for their 4-inch figures. Brilliant, really.

Llama Loot Plush, $9.99

It’s a 7-inch llama plush. Nothing more, nothing less.

Squad Mode 4 Figure Pack, $39.99

This is basically four Solo Mode packs in one, or rather one squad. Each of the four included figures comes with a unique harvesting tool, as well as an assortment of paired weapons.  You also get a piece of building material/display stand for each of the characters. Figures include Ragnarok, Rex, Cuddle Team Leader and Brite Bomber. Really, if you can’t find any of the single packs tomorrow, this is a great way to kick off the Jazwares collection, plus you’re technically saving cash by buying in bulk.

Turbo Builder Set 2 Figure Pack, $39.99

The Turbo Builder Set might be the coolest item on this list, mostly because it’s a proper Fortnite playset. The big box comes packed with two 4-inch action figures (Raven and Jonesy), 4 weapons, 2 harvesting tools, and a full assortment of 89 building materials (27 wood, 27 brick, 27 metal). So essentially, as you collect more figures and building pieces, you can add them to this set and create the ultimate Fortnite Battle Royale fortress. Pretty cool, man. Pretty cool.

Now, so far, I haven’t opened most of this stuff, but if there’s enough interest, I’ll be more than glad to trash all the plastic and cardboard to take pictures of the toys outside their packaging. That way you can get a better, closer look at what’s included. Just let me know via social media and I’ll get to updating this post.

Disclosure: Jazwares provided review product for coverage purposes.
