First look inside Edinburgh House of Gods stylish new 3am bar with a dark twist

Edinburgh’s House of Gods Hotel has announced they will be opening a brand-new bar with a late 3am license and a tarot card themed cocktail menu.

The boutique bar is called Lilith’s Lounge and opens May 27 at the House of Gods hotel in Cowgate.

With dramatic interiors inspired by the mystery of the unwritten tale of the first lady of the Garden of Eden, guests can expect to enjoy another level of decadence.

Just like the hotel's other bars Lilith's Lounge has exquisite interior design that will make anyone feel like a movie star.

Accompanying the suave furnishings is a brand new menu with exclusive cocktails that match the theme.

The bar has a Garden of Eden theme with jungle animals and dark tones throughout and celebrates Lilith from the bible who was supposedly Adam's first partner and was later banished from the garden.

Said to be a demoness, the bar has dark themes with the new menu printed on tarot cards, its the perfect setting for a night of debauchery and indulgence.

There will also be the option of enjoying a wildcard option, letting Lilith herself take control of their evening by choosing your drinks.

The dark themed bar has a luxurious feel.

There are a number of hints of the Garden of Eden in the interior design.

There are stunning snake themed lamps and leopard print pillows in the fantasy style bar.

Thanks to a 3am licence, revellers will be able party well into the small hours.

Co-owner Mike Baxter said: "We’re really looking forward to bringing Lilith’s Lounge to Edinburgh.

Over the past few months, we’ve worked to build an engaged audience at our Casablanca Cocktail Club, and we believe that adding the new venue will mean that nights out in Edinburgh’s capital are set to become even more legendary."

Lilith’s Lounge will be open Monday to Sunday 5pm-3am and opens to the public on 27th of May.
