First look at swish Edinburgh bowling alley with curling, pool tables and bar

A new Edinburgh bowling bar have given a first glimpse inside their new city centre venue set to open this year.

After announcing their arrival in the capital a few months ago, Roxy Lanes have confirmed work is fully underway to get the new venue up and running.

Located on Rose Street, the site is expected to open to the public in the coming months, and will include a fully kitted-out bowling alley, ice-free curling, pool tables and a kitchen/bar.

Giving a first look inside the venue, the bones of the new bar could be seen coming together, with partition walls and long bowling lanes being created.

Located at 26 Rose Street, the bar said: "Things are moving and shaking on Rose Street! Keep your eyes peeled on our socials for the launch date and progress of the venue build."

Described as "more than just a bowling alley", Edinburgh will be the 13th site for the Roxy Leisure group further to their most recent launches in Bristol, Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds, with their newest site opening in Sheffield this August.

The 25,000 sq ft Rose Street location will feature an exciting range of activities including ten-pin bowling, ice-free curling, American pool, air hockey, karaoke, arcade games, basketball, beer pong, bank shot shuffleboard, and shuffleboard.
