First-look images show comedy icon Jennifer Saunders as a guest star in BBC's Ghosts Christmas special.
The hit comedy is returning this December for yet another festive-filled episode.
For those who have't seen the show, the highly-acclaimed sitcom is centred around a young couple - Mike and Alison played by Charlotte Richie and Kiell Smith-Bynoe - who have inherited a dilapidated country mansion only to find it filled with needy ghosts.
It was announced last week that the sitcom, which first aired in 2019, would be returning for a fourth series next year.
Fans of the show have now been given an insight into what's in store for the 2021 Christmas special.
New images show 63-year-old French and Saunders and Absolutely Fabulous star, Jennifer Saunders as Lavinia, Lady Fanny Button's mother in the Christmas Eve Eve episode on BBC One.
The 30-minute festive special will show viewers the lead-up to the festive season at the Button Hall.
Returning for the special will be Charlotte Ritchie and Kiell Smith-Bynoe as hall owners, Mike and Alison, Jim Howick as Pat, Martha Howe-Douglas as Fanny, Mathew Baynton as Thomas, Simon Farnaby as Julian, Lolly Adefope as Kitty, Laurence Rickard as Robin, Ben Willbond as Captain and Katy Wix as Mary.
The synopsis reads: "In the run up to the festive season, Kitty becomes convinced that Santa has made an early stop at Button House when Mike and Alison discover a man living in a tent on their grounds.
"The ghosts' advice on how to deal with him leaves much to be desired, but eventually Mike and Alison learn that they have more to offer this Christmas than they realised."
Ghost will start filming for the fourth series in the New Year.
