First look at Gin Ne Sais Quoi as latest Cardiff bar opens

Cardiff's popular party street Mill Lane has gained another cocktail bar in the shape of Gin Ne Sais Quoi, the second to hit Wales after its first was launched in Swansea Waterfront in 2019, and it will open this weekend on Friday, December 16. We've managed to get a little peek inside the bar before it welcomes festive party-goers.

Bringing "all things pink and floral" to what was previously known as Carluccio and Gourmet Burger Kitchen, this utterly Instagrammable cocktail bar will be offering a wide menu of drinks - and a wide range of spirits including gin, of course, as the name states - as well as entertainment week in week out.

Punters can expect dancing, live entertainment, DJs, VIP and bottle service as well as pre, or during, match day celebration - be that rugby or football. You can even hire it out for parties and functions. Here is what you can expect to see in all its pink glory.

This new offering will join the likes of Heidi's Bier Bar, Mocka Lounge, Pitch Bar and Eatery, Ten Mill Lane and Peppermint on the famous street, which has been enjoyed by partygoers for decades.

The boutique-styled bar, much like its sister bar on Swansea's Kings Road, will boast glamorous decor that comes complete with gorgeous cherry blossom foliage and neon signs - for that ultimate 'girls night out' Instagram post.

Offering plenty of cocktail deals, including bottomless drinks and VIP drinks packages, the bar will run across two floors and has a rose-tinted theme throughout. Even the bouncers take on a touch of fabulousness and wear pink.

Don't worry if gin isn't your bag as they don't just do gin cocktails, but classics such as espresso martinis, pornstar martinis and special NE10 vodka blue raspberry and pink apple cocktails

With a spiral staircase, geometric mirrored walls, bright signs, trees both standing upright and hanging from the ceiling, the interior features plush velvet chairs and booths in pinks, greens and silvers.

They even have balloon structures to really give it that extra party vibe.

Launching on Friday, December 16, the bar will be hosting a shindig to celebrate its opening (guestlist for which is available via their Instagram).

While drinks will be served just for the time being, the team are hoping to begin serving food in the new year.

Gin Ne Sais Quoi will open on Friday, December 16 on Mill Lane.
