First look at BGT judges as they reunite for first time in two years

The first look at the newest series of Britain's Got Talent has been released, showing the judges returning in all their glory.

A photo has been released of the usual four judges, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, as they return for the next series of the ITV show.

The pic shows the four of them sat at the iconic BGT desk with the four crosses in front of them as they smiled for the camera.

David Walliams looked smart as he sat at the end of the desk wearing a black suit paired with a matching black shirt, finished off with a colourful pocket square.

Right next to him was singer Alesha Dixon who was wearing a bright orange blazer with a black bralette underneath.

She finished off her look with her usual full glam makeup with her sleek dark hair tucked behind her ears.

Radio presenter Amanda Holden beamed from ear to ear while wearing a lemon yellow dress with an asymmetric sleeve detail with a cut out design on the shoulder.

She had her iconic blonde hair straightened behind her back and full makeup with a nude glossy lip.

Head judge Simon Cowell sat on the end of the panel cracking a grim as he wore a dark grey jumper with the sleeves rolled up.

David Walliams recently posted a photo of him with the other three judges to his Instagram page as they posed for the camera along with hosts Ant and Dec.

The pic was taken as they arrived at the London Palladium to film for the talent competition.

After the series was cancelled last year due to the ongoing pandemic, the stars finally got to return to the judging panel.

Comedian David shared a few snaps of him and the other judges posing for the camera in front of a grand staircase.

The celebs' arrival on Sunday comes after it was revealed by Mirror that Simon agreed to remain on Britain's Got Talent until 2025.

ITV have agreed to extend the show's deal by an extra year so there will be at least another four series to come.

A source close to Simon said: "He is showing no signs of slowing down and is working on lots of American projects too."

However, there was uncertainty whether the 2022 series would go ahead as well due to the ongoing pandemic.

David suggested that they would need to postpone the filming of the programme again, after a whole series being cancelled.

He said: "We're meant to be coming back in January. We're going to start filming the auditions in January and February, all being well. But obviously, it's a bit of an uncertain world, which is why we had to cancel the series this year.

"I say we, they cancelled it. I would've quite happily done it as long as we could've kept everyone safe."
