First look as Monterey Jacks offers fun slice of Americana with Braehead opening

Offering a little slice of Americana, Monterey Jack’s has opened at XSite Braehead and Glasgow Live has been given a first look at the exciting new restaurant.

The popular restaurant chain is serving up its American classics, including hot dogs, pizzas, desserts, and cocktails, as well as its gourmet burgers, which recently secured it the ‘best burger’ title at The Scottish Entertainment Awards, at the centre.

Diners can enjoy the vibrant restaurant, which offers over 20 different burgers with fun dishes such as bagel burgers, calzones and nacho platters to share.

Housed within a ground-floor unit at XSite Braehead, the new restaurant is open for all-day casual dining.

The new Monterey Jack’s, which already operates ten sites across Scotland, also has a huge range of cocktails – there is over 35 options on the menu – including mojitos, cider slushies, slushie cocktails and even a sharing barrel for up to four people.

There are also milkshakes, hot drinks, soft drinks and mocktails for those looking for non-alcoholic options.

There are also festive options for those looking to enjoy Christmas lunch with a three-course set menu (£28 pp) serving all throughout December with mains including the festive Christmas burger (a chicken burger topped with bacon, stuffing and cranberry sauce)and desserts such as the Biscotti Cheesecake.
