During this trip, President Trump mentioned that Melania has always been actively involved, albeit more behind the scenes, and described her as a 'front-of-the-scenes person.'
President Trump also shared that the first lady expressed deep concern for the individuals affected by the recent hurricanes and wildfires, which motivated her to join him on the trip to offer support to the communities in need.
