First glimpse at EastEnders' Strictly Children In Need special

EastEnders actress Maisie Smith has treated fans to the first glimpse at the soap's Children in Need Strictly Special.

For this year's charity event, Maisie will compete alongside co-stars Ricky Champ, Rudolph Walker and Louisa Lytton for a chance to seize the Glitterball Trophy.

They've been placed in the very capable hands of pros Kevin Clifton, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk and Trent Whiddon.

Taking to Instagram , Maisie shared a clip of the group hard at work in rehearsals.

Ricky, who plays Stuart Highway in the soap, already looks to be a natural as he lifts Luba into the air with ease.

While Louisa, who plays Ruby Allen, also looks on good form as she's led around the room by Gorka.

The soap stars appear to be enjoying honing their new talents.

Ricky wrote on his Instagram page: "I don’t mean to blow my own trumpet, but I can dance like the wind blows."

While Louisa posted: "Well here we go then!! I can’t remember a SINGLE step from my strictly experience 13 years ago but boy is this going to be fun! @bbccin @bbcstrictly @gorka_marque"

Louisa had been the youngest ever celebrity to take part in Strictly Come Dancing back in 2007 when she was partnered with Vincent Simone.

The actress finished in fourth place overall but will hoping to go a step better with her latest appearance on the dancefloor.
