Lucknow/Saifai: The first death anniversary of 'Padma Vibhushan' Mulayam Singh Yadav, founder of Samajwadi Party and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is being commemorated today across the state. The SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav went to the Samadhi of Netaji Mulayam Singh in Saifai and paid homage to him, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
SP MP Dimple Yadav also paid her tributes to Netaji followed by a large number of Party functionaries and many other leadres across party lines.
On this occasion, several programmes are being organized by the Samajwadi Party throughout the state.
Remembering Party founder and father Mulayam Singh Yadav, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav wrote on social media platform, 'Those who live in people's hearts never go anywhere.' Akhilesh Yadav further wrote in the same post, 'Salute to your principles and efforts, heartfelt tributes to you with our commitment to achieve those principles meaningfully...'

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and many ministers of the state government, MLAs, MPs and other leaders from across the country also remembered Mulayam Singh Yadav on his first death anniversary and paid tributes to him.
Shivpal Yadav remembered Netaji and his elder brother in a different way. He wrote a couplet on the social media platform as a tribute to Mulayam Singh Yadav.
The main programme was organized in Saifai on the first death anniversary of Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav.
