First Dates star Merlin Griffiths is currently in hospital after facing complications of bowel cancer.
The Channel 4 television personality announced last year that he had received the devastating diagnosis after doctors discovered he had a 4.5cm stage three tumour. In April, Merlin underwent surgery to remove the tumour but his health battle isn't over yet.
Posting to his Instagram, the 47-year-old shared an image of him wearing a mask while lying in a hospital bed. He wrote: "Oh... Squibwibble. #complications #nhs #BowelCancerAwareness."

Fans were quick to support him and left comments of concern. Sandra said: "Sending positive vibes and wishing you better. You got this!"
Ruth said: "I was only thinking of you this morning. You're doing so well even though it feels like a step backwards at this moment. Rest and heal...its a blip and will blip off soon. Big hugs."
Meanwhile, Boyd said: "Just remember that you cant keep a good man down for very long. You will be back on your feet before you know it."
Merlin rose to fame as the bartender who chats to the daters while they wait at the bar for their match in Channel 4's hit show. He began updating fans on his cancer treatment in a series of posts on social media, including photographs from hospital before and after his surgery.
He shared a selfie from hospital, wearing a mask before his operation, with the caption "Ready as I'll ever be. Tumour removal time." Merlin later shared another selfie post-surgery, lying in a bed wearing a hospital gown, and wrote: "2am. Tubes outta everywhere. Aches and pains. But no tumour!"
