First Dates star Merlin Griffiths has given another update on his cancer battle and has shared that he is now clear of the disease.

The 48-year-old reality TV star has been battling with bowel cancer since September 2021. He has appeared as the bartender on Channel 4’s First Dates for the past ten years and has been updating his followers through his battle with bowel cancer.

Posting to Instagram yesterday, Merlin posted a screenshot from what appears to be an email form the NHS. He captioned his post: “Final Year 1 scan results are in, and it's ALL CLEAR for now. Nice. Thank you #NHS #bowelcancerawareness”.
