First Choice has hotels from £5pp a night in Greece and Turkey this summer

First Choice is giving Brits the chance to snap up some budget-friendly Greece holidays and Turkey holidays in a new deal with hotel stays from just £5 per person a night.

Yep, you read that right; £5 per person, a night. The best part is that there are heaps of popular holiday destinations included too such as Rhodes, Kos, Skiathos, Corfu and Zante to name a few.

In fact when we took a look there were hundreds of holidays available for under £10pp, usually for breaks in May and October, with self-catering and B&B options.

You can check out the £5pp hotel stays on the First Choice website here.

It's worth noting that the deals are based on a single night's stay, but you can of course opt to add more nights to your break.

Then of course the deal doesn't include your flights, but the good news is that there are plenty of bargains to be found for the summer months. For example TUI Airways offers a number of cheap fares which include deals from £155pp in May to Greece, while Skyscanner can be a good source for comparing cheap Greece flights.

It's not just Greece that's included - when we took a look, we could also find cheap hotel deals for Turkey including holiday favourite Dalaman, with prices from £8pp a night.

Don't be disheartened if the deals or dates don't quite work for you. We've also got round-ups of more holiday deals we think you'll love, as well as a guide to the latest cheap flights we think are worth having on your radar.

Greece and Turkey are currently amongst the countries open to Brits for holidays right now.

There's good news for UK holidaymakers who are eyeing up a Greek getaway too, as the hotspot is one of 12 countries which recently eased their travel rules.

Greece recently changed its rules to exempt fully vaccinated Brits from Covid test requirements, and is also ending a need for passenger locator forms from travellers.

If you're unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, you will need proof of a negative Covid test result - this can be a PCR test taken within 72 hours before arrival, or an antigen test within 48 hours.

Meanwhile, Turkey is also open to both vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers, with different rules depending on your vaccine status.

Vaccinated Brits can visit without needing Covid tests, although they do need to complete a pre-travel online form within 72 hours before travel.

Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travellers will need to take either a PCR test within 72 hours before travel, or an antigen test within 48 hours before travel, and also fill out the form. Turkey is also accepting holidaymakers who can show proof of recent recovery from Covid within the last six months.

Travel restrictions can change quickly during the pandemic, so always check the latest Foreign Office travel advice for a destination before booking or going on a trip abroad.
